These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of findcomix.com (the "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What findcomix Is

findcomix is a marketplace discovery and contact platform for comic books. We let sellers catalog and list comics, and let members search listings and contact sellers directly. findcomix is not a party to any sale. We don't process payments between buyers and sellers, hold funds in escrow, arrange shipping, or guarantee delivery, condition, authenticity, or grading accuracy of any comic. Any transaction you make with another user happens directly between you and them, at your own risk.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter a binding contract to create an account.
• One account per person. Impersonating another person or entity is not allowed.

3. Membership

Listing comics for sale, contacting sellers, and viewing seller contact details require an active paid membership, billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal on your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Seller Verification

Before listing a comic for sale, sellers must complete identity verification: phone verification (for listings under $500) or government ID verification through Stripe Identity (required at $500 and over, and accepted at any price). This is a one-time requirement per account, intended to reduce fraud and impersonation on the platform. See our Privacy Policy for details on how verification data, including SMS consent, is collected and used.

5. Listings, AI Cataloging, and Pricing

• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, including title, issue, grade, and price.
• findcomix offers an optional AI tool that reads comic cover photos and drafts listing details automatically. AI-generated details, including grade, certification, and estimated fair market value, are best-effort estimates only and may be inaccurate. Always review AI-drafted listings before publishing them, and don't rely on an estimated value as a guarantee of what a comic will sell for.
• Listing a comic you don't own, or misrepresenting its condition or authenticity, is prohibited and may result in account termination.

6. Reviews and Seller Reputation

Only a buyer credited with an actual completed purchase (verified by the seller marking a sale to that buyer's account) can leave a review for that sale. Reviews must reflect a genuine transaction and your honest experience. Manipulating reviews, ratings, or seller badges — including buying, selling, or trading them — is prohibited.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Fraud, scams, or attempting to circumvent seller verification.
• Posting fake, stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented items.
• Harassing, threatening, or impersonating another user.
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the Service.
• Using the Service for anything illegal.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

8. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of photos, descriptions, and other content you upload. By uploading it, you grant findcomix a license to store, display, and process that content (including sending photos to our AI provider for cataloging) as needed to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated listing details, price estimates, or seller verification status, and we don't guarantee any buyer or seller will complete a transaction in good faith. You're responsible for exercising your own judgment when buying or selling.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, findcomix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from any transaction, dispute, or interaction between users, including but not limited to disputes over payment, shipping, item condition, or authenticity.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
